IMC Alumni Talk with Lisa Pulsinger

From Business Graduate to IT Professional - how digitalization makes IT employees of all of us

12:00 - 13:30

Diese Veranstaltung wird empfohlen für:

  • IMC Studierende
  • Alumni

Imagine developing your own apps, programming a chatbot that interacts with you or creating a website without an IT degree or specific technical skills. Seems unrealistic? Well, digitalization has made all that possible, and chances are high that you, as a non-IT graduate, will become a “citizen developer” too. I’ve been on the path from an international business graduate to a technical software consultant and product manager for the past 7 years and I am happy to share my key insights with you.

In this session, you will learn about the diversity of IT jobs, what it takes to get into IT as a graduate from another discipline, and why the technical industry is in dire need of alumni from other areas. You will also learn how digitalization will help you on your career journey and why all of us will be IT employees in the future.

Lisa Pulsinger, BA MSc is an IMC Export-oriented Management graduate (2014). She is Senior Technical Evangelist at software company dox42 and a speaker at international events and conferences on document automation. Additionally, she is an active member and supporter of Women in Tech initiatives.
