Our experts check the equivalence of degrees obtained abroad with domestic degrees.
An application can be submitted if the recognition of your foreign is mandatory for practising a profession or for continuing education at a higher education institution in Austria. It is not permitted to submit the same application to another university of applied sciences at the same time or after withdrawal.
Nostrification of school-leaving qualifications is not possible at our university. Information on this topic can be found on the website of the Federal Ministry.
Qualifications from other EU and EEA countries and from Switzerland
For degrees obtained in EU and EEA countries, as well as Switzerland, professional recognition suffices. This recognition applies only to regulated professions and falls outside the purview of universities of applied sciences. The competent bodies for professional recognition can be found at www.berufsanerkennung.at/en.
