You’ve decided on a degree programme? Then secure your place at IMC Krems now. Submit your application using our simple and convenient online platform.

Applying online

You need to complete the following three steps – application possible from 1 December.

1

Once you’ve registered on our online platform, you’ll receive an e-mail containing your access link which enables you to begin submitting your application.

If you’re from a non-EU country, you will need to pay a registration fee of EUR 200 at this stage. But don't worry: if you’re accepted, we’ll deduct this from your first tuition fees.

Apply

Begin your online application by filling out the forms and uploading documents. You can save your application and continue later using your personal access link, and submit it at any time up to the application deadline.

Allow yourself enough time to write a good statement of motivation

The statement of motivation is submitted via the online application platform and is a central element of your application.

It requires you to address the following aspects:

  • reasons for choosing a degree programme
  • expectations for your future degree programme
  • personal strengths and weaknesses with respect to the core focuses of the programme
  • (for master programmes) your undergraduate studies/professional experience
  • (for part-time programmes) how you will be able to combine family, work and leisure with your studies

Enter your statement directly in the appropriate text box (with a character limit) in the online application platform.

What happens after you’ve submitted your online application?

All fully completed applications received by the deadline will be checked in detail by the relevant department. If you meet our admission requirements, we’ll invite you by e-mail to an application interview for the degree programme you’ve applied for.

You haven’t graduated from secondary school yet?

Application for a bachelor degree programme

This isn’t a problem: you can of course submit your application even if you haven’t taken your school leaving exams yet. Simply submit your secondary-school leaving qualifications before you start your studies. In the meantime, upload your most recent school report when you complete your online application.

Applicants from outside Austria are also required to submit confirmation from their school of the exact form of secondary school leaving qualifications they are studying for, including the expected date of completion.

Important

If you are currently studying for a vocational matriculation qualification or university entrance qualification, partial transcripts of the successfully completed subareas and a confirmation from the examination institute including the expected examination dates of the remaining subareas must be uploaded at the time of application. You can submit the complete certificate for the vocational matriculation qualification or university entrance qualification up until the time you start your studies.

Application for a master degree programme

No problem – you can submit your undergraduate degree documents up until the start of your studies.

When applying online, please upload confirmation from your university of the degree you’re studying for (including the total number of ECTS to be achieved), a list of the remaining courses to be completed, the expected date of graduation, and your transcript of records.
