Environmental and Sustainability Management master programme
The topic of sustainable management is on everyone’s lips. At IMC Krems, you can study it! The part-time Environmental and Sustainability Management master programme provides the skills you require to assume a high-level position in Austria or abroad.
After completing your interdisciplinary degree, you will be in a position to support businesses and organisations in implementing environmentally and socially responsible strategies and initiatives. In other words, the programme shows you how companies and organisations can adopt sustainable operations, and as a result make a contribution to promoting sustainable development.
Courses normally take place on Friday and Saturday. There is also 1 block week per semester.
You will complete your degree in 4 semesters, or 2 years. During this time, your workload will be 120 ECTS credits.
The degree programme
Become an advocate for sustainable management: you will examine trends and opportunities in environmental and sustainability management, and learn how to implement environmentally and socially responsible approaches in companies and organisations.
You will be studying alongside people from various professions on this part-time master programme. If you already have a business, technology-related or science degree, this programme is an ideal supplement.
Looking to gain an overview of the topic of sustainability? Then the Tonspur N podcast created by programme director Roman Mesicek is a great place to start (available in German only). We particularly recommend listening to episode 2 (“What is sustainable?”) and 15 (“Managing the environment”).
