Teaching and research professorship in Sustainability Management (f/m/d)

Your tasks

You will be teaching in German and English in your area of expertise in our study programmes (Bachelor and Master) in Krems and abroad. You will be conducting applied research projects and supervise Bachelor and Master theses projects. Working with the team, you will engage the community and will be cultivating contact with regional and international partners to contribute to extending and strengthening the network, and to have an impact on the society.

Your profile

  • Academic qualification (PhD or equivalent) in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences
  • Profound knowledge in Environmental and Sustainability Management
  • Additional in-depth knowledge in Circular Economy or Implications of Climate Neutrality on Businesses
  • Higher-education teaching experience
  • Experience in conducting research and in the acquisition of third-party funded research projects
  • Active member of the scientific community (evidenced by memberships, publications, conference presentations or peer-review work)
  • Excellent English language skills (required level C1/ European Framework of Reference)
  • Good German language skills (at least B2)

Your salary

IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems is not subject to any collective agreements. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 55,000, based on a full-time workload (40 hours per week). Allocation to pay grades is based on qualifications and professional experience. The university is prepared to pay a higher salary in recognition of relevant professional experience and qualifications.
