The results of the staff survey show a clear picture: working at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems is a pleasure due to an excellent working atmosphere and a good work-life balance, among other things.

The survey was conducted by EUCUSA Consulting. It is a feedback system that significantly contributes to achieving strategic goals. Since a team survey already took place in 2018, the current evaluation gives a good idea of the development of satisfaction – and is cause for celebration.

Very high satisfaction and high response rate

The response rate of 82% already impressively demonstrates how important it is for employees to make their opinions known.
Compared to 2018, the satisfaction index improved from 1.9 to 1.8 on a scale of 1 (very high agreement) to 6 (very low agreement). Job satisfaction, cooperation in the team, the working atmosphere, the work-life balance and the sense of responsibility of the university were particularly positively highlighted. Overall satisfaction even reached a value of 1.5. 55 of the 59 aspects questioned are in the high agreement range.

Great appreciation

Although the corona pandemic and the associated challenges of online teaching and virtual events demanded a lot from everyone in the team, it was still possible to improve in many areas. IMC Krems is therefore on a very good course. “All in all, we can be more than proud of this result at IMC Krems,” Ulrike Prommer, Managing Director, is satisfied. “Some of the comments from the questionnaires show particularly well that we are among the top employers for a good reason.”

For example, “the great working atmosphere and the humanity that is lived out” were praised, as well as the “appreciative interaction with each other and the family-like team spirit”. “Family-friendliness and direct personal contact” were cited as the cause of a positive, university-wide sense of unity.
