Graduation ceremonies in Grafenegg for the first time

500 students celebrate their graduation from business, digitalisation, health, and life sciences

IMC Krems returned to in-person graduation events this year with ceremonies on 25 and 26 April. The festivities took place at Grafenegg’s beautiful Auditorium venue, which was specially decked out for the occasion. About 500 graduates celebrated with family and friends, including some who had finished their degrees in 2020 and 2021 and were making up for missing out on this special occasion. Certificates for 27 different degrees in business, digitalisation and engineering, health, and life sciences were presented at the ceremonies.

“We’re delighted that we were able to hold these ceremonies with our graduates and their families at Grafenegg Castle, a truly fitting backdrop. Enabling everyone to attend in person was particularly important to us, because you remember occasions like this for the rest of your life,” commented the Chair of IMC Krems Academic Board, Prof.(FH) Mag. Dr. Martin Waiguny.

IMC Krems Alumni Network expanding all the time

The academic honours awarded to the 500 graduates brings the number of completed degree programmes at IMC Krems to over 13,000 as of April 2022. The new alumni are now part of the IMC Krems Alumni Network, which gives graduates from Austria and abroad a host of opportunities to stay in contact with their alma mater. Members can connect at various networking events held at locations all over the world as well as in Austria.
