The new Chapter covers the largest geographical area (including New Zealand) in the network of “IMC home bases” abroad. Alumni ambassador Martin Wisata received many “birthday messages” from graduates who were unable to attend this time but could personally welcome alumnae Magdalena Mager and Juliane Wisata as well as Dr. Maximilian Schachner, Deputy Head – International Relations, during a stopover on his business trip itinerary to the Southern hemisphere.
During the social gathering various professional ideas were developed to deepen the bonds among IMC graduates “down under”. As Martin Wisata summarizes “we consider intensifying our communication via social media (including our existing LinkedIn group) and through regular webinar-style connections to our Alma Mater location in Krems.
And we would also like to encourage all IMC students spending exchange semesters or internships in the region to get in touch with us. Our large network of contacts with expatriates and professionals in the region will thus become available to them too”.
