Sabina Tepus and Emmely Patrasso from the Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology programme and Emil Steinwendtner and Hanna Humpel from Applied Chemistry will start their research stays in August. They will visit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, the Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and the Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania.
The scholarship holders of the last two years, whose certificate presentation had been cancelled, were also invited to the event. Barbara Entler, Uwe Rinner and Max Schachner congratulated everyone on their success.
About the Marshall Plan Scholarship Programme
The Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation annually awards scholarships to Austrian students for research stays in the USA and also promotes collaboration between the two countries. The scholarships are intended for students who have made outstanding academic achievements in the field of science.
