IMC Summer School 2021

The Summer School: International Business Innovation will take place from 5 to 16 July 2021, and builds on IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems’s faculty’s expertise.

The participants will have the opportunity to learn how to

• exploit opportunities for sustainable digital business innovation 
• design customer experiences and develop human-centered business innovations 
• lead corporate change in an effective & systemic manner 
• collaborate across cultures 

The programme includes an enrichment programme with the aim of offering both a high quality academic and intercultural experience for the participants.

On-site or distance learning?

We plan to offer the IMC Summer School on-site in Austria, on IMC’s Campus Krems, if the COVID-19 situation allows. The programme includes social and cultural activities, ranging from a city tour to a wine tavern visit (Heuriger), as well as social events. The aim is to give visiting students a taste of Austrian and European culture while providing opportunities for networking and socialising, all with the necessary health precautions.

We will probably be able to decide in April 2021 whether the programme can actually be carried out in presence at IMC Krems or not. If the COVID-19 situation does not allow it, the programme will be cancelled. We will update our website regularly and keep partner universities and nominated students informed.

• Credits: 6 ECTS credits; Contact hours: 63 contact hours
  Participating students will receive an IMC certificate for this programme. Evaluation includes completing pre-course assignments, active participation in class, performing final project presentations and passing the final multiple-choice assessment.
• Nomination deadline for partner universities: 15 March 2021
• Application Deadline: 30 April 2021
• Accommodation: Accommodation suggestions will be announced soon. Participants are not bound to these options. However, we will be happy to answer your questions and concerns at any time
