Business administration

Business administration topics include: accounting and finance, marketing, human resources and logistics.

Core topics of the Business Administration for the Public Health Sector programme

The healthcare sector is a growing market and is set to carry on expanding in the coming decades. Demographic change and advances in medicine, pharmaceuticals and medical technology are increasingly important factors for the economy.

Health economics

Health economics looks at the fundamentals of management from a healthcare perspective.

Your health economics know-how will help you stand out from the competition when applying for jobs. Clearly, sustainable growth in the healthcare sector will only be possible if there are enough highly qualified managers with the right expertise.

Healthcare organisations

Key healthcare organisations include hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, insurers and care facilities, as well as home care providers and rehabilitation centres.
In addition to these core areas, your knowledge of health economics will also be applicable to related fields such as wellness, health tourism and assisted living.

" Take advantage of the opportunities to enhance your international skills. English for spoken communication and work is firmly established on the curriculum. What’s more, you can opt for an exchange semester abroad at one of our 170+ partner universities, or complete an internship in an international work environment. "
