Accreditations and awards

The university’s Tourism and Leisure Management degree programme has secured Accredited Member status – a top-level international quality certificate – with the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE). We were the first Austrian educational institution for tourism and leisure to receive such certification.

IMC Krems has earned the quality seal of the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), an international quality assurance agency specialising in education and science, for its Business, Health and Life Sciences bachelor and master degree programmes. We were awarded accreditation for our teaching and research activities, as well as for our organisational structures.

The university of applied sciences’s  “Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology” degree programmes  have earned the quality seals of the ASIIN association, an accreditation agency of degree programmes in engineering, computer science, natural sciences, and mathematics. The IMC Krems is the first Austrian university of applied sciences and arts that has secured this certification. The ASIIN technical seal honours degree programmes that meet the needs of science and professional practice of the disciplines involved at a high level and provide a secure environment for teaching and learning.
