IMC FH Krems: Tourism students visited the world's largest travel trade show

IMC tourism students at the ITB Berlin 2010 – the world’s largest travel trade show.

72 students of the IMC Tourism and Leisure Management programmes (Bachelor and Master) took part in an excursion organised by Mag. Walter Grassl, IMC lecturer, to ITB Berlin 2010. Since all second semester tourism students are getting ready for their Practical Training Semester (PTS) or Applied Research and Training Semester (ARTS), the ITB Berlin is the perfect opportunity to meet up with professionals and look for a job in an international business environment. Over the years ITB Berlin became the leading B2B platform for the global tourism industry.

Today ITB Berlin is the world’s largest travel trade show with an exhibition area of 160.000 square meters and approx. 11.000 exhibitors from 180 countries. Total exhibitor sales sum up to about 5 billion Euros and all in all 180.000 visitors including 111.000 trade visitors come to this important travel trade show in the German capital every year.
