As the first foreigner altogether Dkfm. Mag. Heinz Boyer, President of the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, was conferred the honorary doctorate of the Christian University of Thailand in Bangkok . Heinz Boyer obtained this prestigious award appreciating his lifelong merits in the domestic and international education in tourism. At a ceremony the award was presented by Princess Soamsawalee, representative of the royal dynasty of Thailand.
„Not only is it a high honour to receive this award but it also and primarily is an incentive to further foster the cooperation between the IMC Fachhochschule Krems and the Christian University of Thailand . Apart from taking steps regarding the mobility of lecturers we will continue to work on a florishing exchange of students.“
