Expenses in relation to your studies

Study fees:

The total tuition fee for the Master's programme (4 semesters) amounts to € 1453.44. The tuition fee (€ 363.36) will be charged per semester.

Students' Union:

All students must pay the mandatory Student's Union Membership Fee of approx. € 16 per semester. With this membership students benefit from a liability and an accident insurance.

Health insurance:

The Austrian social security system offers students who are not insured with their parents to take out a special health insurance with the "Niederösterreichische Gebietskrankenkasse" (the health insurance company of Lower Austria) for approx. € 24 per month.

Scholarships:

Students of universities of applied sciences are on equal terms with university students regarding grants and scholarships.

Accommodation:

Accommodation costs range from € 200 for sharing an apartment with other students - to € 390 per month for renting an apartment on one's own. Find out more: Living in Krems
