Health sector worldwide

Due to the constantly rising cost of financing the public health service, as well as the growing complexity of medical science and technology, the demand for specialists with comprehensive national and international strategic knowledge is increasing. Additionally, as the population continues to age, the need for health services will also continue to grow, a trend which is being countered by changing the provision of certain services from an inpatient to an outpatient basis. Management specialists will be required for these newly established health service organisations. By means of the combination of subjects from strategic management, scientific theory, international aspects and practical implementation, within the framework of training in interdisciplinary methods, students will develop the competence required to perform duties within the health service.
