The three-year programme includes a mandatory 22-week internship in the fifth semester. More than 50% of the students complete their internships abroad with internationally renowned enterprises, research institutes and universities.
Organisation and procedure
- All students receive full support with organising their internship, and assistance with written and oral applications and visa formalities. One-on-one coaching is designed to discuss the student’s strengths and development areas, and find the most suitable placement with an international enterprise.
- Departmental staff are also happy to share the benefits of their excellent network of contacts. Our international research and industrial partners are constantly offering positions for student interns.
- The Biotechnology degree programme also works closely with its partner universities to provide work placements.
