Health Management

Introduction

Every September we welcome a new intake of students for our degree programme, which is taught mainly in German. Courses with an international focus are held in English.

The Bachelor programme in Health Management provides a comprehensive grounding in management, concentrating primarily on the health care system and its organisation. You will gain an insight into basic management concepts and their importance for the health sector, and develop the skills required to assume management responsibilities in the health system, in health care institutions and projects, and as independent providers of health services.

Key skills

Health management is a booming segment. Coping with demographic changes, developments in medical technology and the resulting pressure to reduce costs and improve efficiency is only possible with fully-qualified, professional managers. The Bachelor programme in Health Management gives graduates the tools they need to address these aspects of their job. Thanks to an effective combination of business, management and health sector-related skills, we offer our students comprehensive theoretical training with a strong practical element.
