Introduction

Every September we welcome a new intake of students for our degree programme, which is taught mainly in German. Courses with an international focus are held in English.

The Business Administration Bachelor programme is a modular course. In the first semester courses focus on the fundamentals of business administration, e-business, software applications, business English, legal principles and commercial law, academic writing and personality development. Later semesters build on these introductory courses, concentrating specifically on business administration topics.

From the second semester onwards, the business administration module is extended to include marketing, accounting, human resources and organisation, finance and controlling.

In the fourth semester, students can apply the practical knowledge obtained in their lectures during an internship with a company based in Austria or abroad. There is also the option of spending one of the five theory semesters as a visiting student at one of our international partner universities.

Business start-ups and mergers and acquisitions are the main topics covered in the sixth and final semester.
