IMC Krems has had the pleasure to celebrate another of its international academic links.

Prof. Richard Wright (holding citizenships of Canada, the USA and Panama), a distinguished visiting professor* and long-time friend of IMC’s Export Management Institute, recently received the IMC “Excellence in Teaching” award in Krems.
Having delivered courses to Master candidates and supervising theses for many years he earned the students’ and peers’ praise for being an “outstanding teacher as well as a witty and very approachable intellectual sparring partner”. Especially his global scope of topics and his experienced guidance through case studies were highly appreciated as “invaluable benefits”.
Prof. Wright envies IMC colleagues not only for the “UNESCO jewel Wachau” as an inspiring place for intellectual development but especially for the students’ professional focus on academic excellence which really “makes teaching at IMC Krems great fun”.
* He was e.g. Founding Director of International Business Studies in the Faculty of Management at McGill University, Montreal (Canada); He has also held the Jackson Distinguished Professorship at the Graduate School of Management, Willamette University (USA) and the E. Claiborne Robins Distinguished University Chair in the Robins School of Business, University of Richmond (USA). He has also been a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the Anderson School at UCLA.
