ITB Berlin 2012: IMC tourism students meet the industry
A group of 76 IMC students from the IMC Krems Bachelor and Master Programme in Tourism and Leisure Management took part in an excursion organised by FH-Prof. Mag. Walter Grassl to ITB Berlin 2012.
As the leading tourism trade fair on the continent, ITB is presently the most important meeting point for the global tourism industry. Especially the second semester tourism students who are getting ready for their Practical Training Semester (PTS) or Applied Research and Training Semester (ARTS), consider ITB Berlin as a great platform to meet with experts and look for an internshipin this international business environment. ITB is currently one of the leading B2B platforms for the global tourism industry.At the ITB convention more than 250 guest speakers from around the globe meet for three days to discuss the latest tourism developments in the fields of hospitality, marketing, corporate social responsibility, business travel, sustainability, e-tourism, eco-mobility, wellness, etc. With approximately 6.500 participants in more than 100 events, the ITB convention 2012 is by far the biggest tourism conference worldwide.
