- New graduates from Vietnam were welcomed to IMC's worldwide alumni network.
A colourful graduation ceremony held on Hue University’s premises last month was witnessed by both IMC representatives as well as the executive management of the Vietnamese partners. In his speech, President Nguyen Van Toan stressed the importance of international higher education in Vietnam for which IMC is a reliable and outstanding partner: “The third cohort of VATP graduates proves the good partnership between our institutions of higher education and the positive outcome of our co-operation which has started six years ago in 2006.”
Vice Rector Karl C. Ennsfellner commented on the event in Hue: “Vietnam as one of our strategic target countries is among the booming economies in the region. By offering tailor made products to both young adults and professionals, IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems is able to strengthen its profile. As in other frontier markets, if one wants to benefit from rapid growth in Vietnam, one has to adopt a long-term view which we prove with a variety of partners among which Hue University is the oldest.”
