Bachelor's programmes
Part-time format
Studying part-time means that the student pursues work on a regular basis (for at least 20 hours a week – temporary unemployment is no reason to abandon the programme) and completes the studies at the same time. The courses, therefore, take place on Fridays from 14:00 to appr. 21:00 and on Saturdays all-day. In this way students who live further away from Krems (over 1 hour) also have a chance to attend the programme. Apart form their jobs (normally 38,5 hours/week) part-time students have to reckon with an attendance required of 16 to 18 hours per week (exclusive of time for preparation and studying).
The internship is usually omitted. To switch from the part-time format to the full-time format requires the approval by the programme director and will be considered individually.
