„Why did I opt for the Bachelor's programme Export-Oriented Management at the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems?”
After graduating from a Business College one of my aims was to enhance and especially to internationalize my already acquired knowledge. I attended the “Openhouse”-day three times in the last two years and after each visit I was really impressed by the friendly and professional atmosphere.
My objective is to work in an international, future-oriented company where I am
able to communicate with people from different nations. I am sure to achieve this
objective by studying at the degree program Export-Oriented Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Krems.
My first semester was characterized by new impressions (of course!). But it was also one of my best times I have ever had. I built up many new relationships with people from different cultures and we were taught new languages, which was one of many highlights during the last six months.

I was eager to take on a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a strongly distinctive international focus, so the degree programme Export-Oriented Management at the IMC seemed to be the perfect option for me. Now that I am about to graduate I can in retrospect truly say that I have taken the right decision for me. Apart from the high academic level of my courses, through which I have obtained a sound understanding in the fields of international trade, international law, human resource management, finance and accounting I was given the chance to study two foreign languages, which I could further practice and improve throughout my exchange semester and my practical training semester abroad. It is particularly for this opportunity to spend one year studying abroad at a well-renowned IMC partner university and to pick up some work experience that makes Export-Oriented Management a perfect choice for all who seek a truly international business education.
Anton Werner, Student of the Bachelor's programme Export-Oriented Management
The cornerstones of my decision to study Export-Oriented Management at IMC Krems were the opportunity to learn two (also rather “exotic”) foreign languages, as well as the compulsory internship abroad. This will be an invaluable experience and will allow me to enhance my network and appeal to HR managers. I was greatly impressed by the fact that all courses are conducted by international experts in English and by the wide range of highly informative guest lectures. My decision to study at IMC Krems was certainly the best I have made in my life so far. My high expectations regarding the blend between a high academic standard, strong international focus and unique atmosphere were not only met, but clearly exceeded. The programme of Export-Oriented Management perfectly combines my interests for trade, intercultural relations and foreign languages. It provides an ideal environment for personal challenge and enhancement of knowledge. It is a true opportunity for everyone striving for a successful international career and for personal growth.
Richard Reicher, Student of the Bachelor's programme Export-Oriented Management
My main motivation to study Export-Oriented Management at the IMC Krems was its strong international orientation – besides having the possibility to choose two foreign languages out of a pool of six, the language of instruction is English.
Moreover a real-life business experience through a 22-week internship abroad is an integral part of the program. Most students also seize the chance to get an insight into another country’s culture and educational system through an exchange term abroad.
I was even offered the unique possibility to obtain a double-degree from a French University, so that I was able to spend a total of three terms abroad, which is half of the total duration of my bachelor studies.
My time in Krems was definitely a great enrichment, not only from an academic but also personal point of view!
Marion Kager, Student of the Bachelor's programme Export-Oriented Management
I applied for the Bachelor’s programme Export-Oriented Management at the IMC Krems, because I felt it suited my expectations of an academic international education best. As the language of instruction of this program was English and numerous language courses were offered, it constituted for me the perfect schooling in order to stay competitive on the international job market. A major motivation to study at the IMC Krems was my desire to acquire profound knowledge in the fields of Economics, International Management and Business Administration.
All these expectations were more than fulfilled during my last five semesters in this study program. After an enriching first study year in Krems, I got the chance to study for an entire year in France and obtain a Double Degree of one of IMC’s numerous worldwide partner universities. In addition to that, I lived and worked in Brussels for six months during my Practical Training Semester.
All in all, I not only grew professionally, but also personally during my studies at the IMC. Having obtained an in-depth knowledge of Business Administration, Economics, International Management, Geo-political Affairs as well as soft skills acquired over the last three years, I am glad to say that I am ready to enter the international job market.
