Qualification
Our bachelor’s programme allows students to obtain a university degree in only 6 semesters. Bachelor’s programmes are the first step towards a professional career in Austria and abroad and makes graduates eligible to enroll in a master´s programme in the EU and overseas.
Business and industry appreciate young, flexible and well-qualified employees. As a Bachelor with a basic scientific education and practical know-how graduates will be sought after on the national and international labour markets. The programme is concluded with a Bachelor’s thesis.
Academic degree: Bachelor of Arts in Business (B.A.)
Diploma Supplement
Upon graduation all students will receive – issued free of charge and in two languages –a Diploma Supplement in order to facilitate academic and professional recognition of the certified qualifications.
Double Degree Programme
Within the Double Degree Programme the students have the opportunity to obtain an additional academic degree of a partner university besides the degree from the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems.
The international network of the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and of the students by means of the Double Degree Agreement should strengthen intercultural thinking and foster the graduates’ employability.
Agreements of cooperation between the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and its partner universities provide for regular exchanges of lecturers, joint discussion of relevant issues, joint assessment of students’ papers, examinations, etc. Thereby a permanent transfer of academic knowledge among the participating institutions is guaranteed.
For students a Double Degree course of studies helps to get immersed into a different academic culture with all its peculiarities and allows to obtain an academic degree with all of its national „benefits“ for the respective labour market. This enhances job prospects and pushes open boundaries.
