How to get to Campus Krems - FH-Building "G"
BY CAR
1. Coming from Vienna or Melk
Coming from Vienna/ Vienna Airport (S5) or Melk (B33) you enter the roundabout “ship station”, then continue towards the next roundabout and exit at “Kunsthalle”. You are right if you see the “Kunsthalle” at your right hand side. Then you have two possibilities for parking:
1st option: At Kunsthalle, you turn right and drive until you see the Parkhaus „Campus Krems“ – As a visitor you pay one Euro per hour (max. 8 Euros for the whole day). Standing in front of the Parkhaus “Campus Krems” there is the walking path to the Campus Krems premises to your left. A guidance system will lead you to the FH-Building, marked with the letter “G”.
2nd option: After having left the second roundabout you enter Dr. Karl-Dorrek-Straße and follow this street (continue over railroad crossing) until you see Parkhaus P4 "Campus West/Hotel Arte". As a visitor you may enter this park garage (same prices as in P1) and then walk over the Campus promenade to the IMC buildung - Wing G (max. 2 minutes).
We advise our visitors to only use these park garages.
2. Coming from Waldviertel and St. Pölten
Coming from the „Waldviertel“ (B37) and from St. Pölten (S33), the capital of Lower Austria, you take exit “Krems Zentrum” and follow the direction details as indicated in 1.
General parking information: Campus Krems is a car-free campus.
Further parking spaces for visitors:
Parking lot at the “ship station” – walking distance to FH-building G approx. 7 min.
BY TRAIN
From St.Pölten: Westbahn up to St. Pölten, then change trains for Krems. Now you can either take the Citybus Nr. 1/stop: Donau-Universität or the connecting train direction “Wachau” (get off at Campus Krems).
From Vienna: Franz-Josefs Station (trains leave hourly) for Krems Bahnhof. There change trains for “Wachau”. Get off at station Campus Krems or take the Citybus Nr. 1/stop Donau-Universität.
Walking distance main train station – Campus Krems: approx. 15-20 min.
