International Relations
The international dimension of studying
International relations are a core element of every university – knowledge is generated globally, and this knowledge forms the basis of university teaching. But the continuing process of globalisation also demands internationalisation from universities – the conscious implementation of measures which make survival within an international university area a possibility and give degree courses an international dimension. Internationalisation results from the promotion of foreign language skills, degree courses taught in English, international networks with partner universities and businesses, as well as international internships and exchange semesters abroad.
The IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems is partner in the ERASMUS network and holds the European University Charta 2007 thus committing itself to respect the requirements of the European Commission, and to enhance the European and international dimension of studying.
